The cell fires, the rule develops, and the label prints at its end.
Anatomy
| Trigger | an icon cell, which does the firing |
|---|---|
| Rule | develops out of the trigger’s edge in --state, 140ms to full length; retracts in 100ms |
| Label | the label voice in --foreground on --background, 12px past the trigger, shown once the rule reaches it |
| From a field | the label prints on the paper past the field’s edge, outside its re-scoped tokens |
| Leave | the label goes at once and the rule retracts |
Timings are read from rule.ts at build time.
Decisions
-
Replaced framed tags
The rail’s names were framed paper tags. Frames off: the label now prints at the end of a rule from its button.
-
One flare
The cell fires and the rule only develops out of it: a control with a label used to fire twice.
-
Near its cell
In the expanded document rail the back cell sits at the field’s left edge, so its name prints on the field beside it: printed past the rail’s edge it landed about 200px from its cell.
